The Sequencer — An ArchestrA Application Object

The Sequencer Application Object — available for download from the ArchestrA® Community Website — is designed to configure, execute and manipulate a sequence of operations associated with attributes from multiple application objects running within an Industrial Application Server application (version 2.1 and higher) or the Wonderware® System Platform.

The Sequencer object exposes a comprehensive set of attributes that enables the creation of SmartSymbols and regular animations within Wonderware's InTouch® HMI to monitor and control the Sequencer operation.

How Can the Sequencer Object Be Used?

The Sequencer Object can help you to:

Enforce standard manufacturing procedures
Coordinate physical actions with logical actions
Add context to raw data
Set initial values for object instances in a simplified manner
Serve as an integral component of the Wonderware Equipment Operations Module

How Can I Get One?

The Sequencer Object is available free of charge at the ArchestrA Community Website. It can be used with any Industrial Application Server or System Platform Galaxy. It does not require a soft license to be enabled for use in Development or Runtime environments.
